These boudoir sessions are for females aged 18 years and over only.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION-
Sessions begin at 9:45am if having make-up and/or hair. (can start slightly later if not opting for these).
I will put you in contact with one of my make-up artists so you can let them know any preferences/ allergies etc beforehand.
If you have opted for hair styling, this will happen after make-up.
I will then guide you through every step of the way. We will discuss posing and then look through your outfit/lingerie options and decide which outfits suit which setups together. We will then choose the colour/designs of the backdrops, floor dressings etc. Then we’ll work through your 3 different chosen set-ups and poses that you are comfortable with. I will literally get into the position and demonstrate the pose first for you, so you do not need to worry about how to pose.

Poses that you see in these example ‘set-up’ images are not limited to that specific set-up only. Many of the poses can be duplicated across different set-ups.
These are just some examples of what can be expected or something similar.

BACK DROP CHOICES FOR “THE BED”
AFTER YOUR SESSION-
The balance of the minimum collection (bronze) must be paid on the day of your session. Once this has been paid, I will do a light edit of the best images, deleting any mis-fires, duplicates, blinks etc. I will do a full edit on a selected few for you to see how your images will look fully retouched. Approximately 3-4 weeks later, you will be invited to view your gallery in person, with myself , to make your selections. Once chosen, I will then fully retouch all your photos. This will include complete skin retouching.
There will be no pushy sales at your selection appointment - Yuck! Not my style at all! You will only purchase the images and products that you love.
1-3 weeks after your selection appointment your images will be ready. Products may take a further 1-3 weeks.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM ILL ON THE DAY?
If you are ill on the day of your session, please let me know at least 2 hours before your session begins. We can then move the session to the next available day.
DO I HAVE TO DECIDE ON WHICH COLLECTION BEFOREHAND?
No. The minimum purchase is the bronze collection. This must be paid for on the day of your portrait session. At the viewing and selection session, you can then decide which collection to go for, after viewing the images.
HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS?
Please allow up to 4/5 hours if having hair and make-up. The session can take anywhere between 2-3 hours, depending on the set changes, tea breaks etc.
I’M REALLY NERVOUS !
Almost everyone that comes to a session has nerves of some level, it’s perfectly normal to be apprehensive. I will guide you all the way through. Every lady that has come for a session has felt nervous but have ended the session with telling me how comfortable they felt and having enjoyed the whole experience. Read this!
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE!
It is my job to guide you and coach you throughout the session, you do not need any posing experience.
WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE CERTAIN PARTS OF MY BODY?
We can talk on the phone prior to your session and you’ll be filling out a form, one of the subjects will be if there are body parts you’d rather not focus on.
If you are conscious of your stomach area, then bodysuits/bodies are amazing! They flatter every body shape and help hide tummy’s.
Many of the poses I cover during your shoot will expose your stomach area. Certain poses will also create skin folds/rolls, which are 100% normal and even the leanest of figures will get them in certain poses, but not everyone wants them to be seen in a photograph of themselves. For this reason, bodies or basques are ideal! There are so many beautiful and inexpensive (and expensive!) body suits to be found online.
Wearing black or darker coloured stockings or fishnets can help hide anything you are not so happy about, darker colours also recede and tend to slenderise slightly.
DO YOU PROVIDE LINGERIE?
No. There is the hygiene aspect of sharing underwear but also women come in so many different body shapes and breast sizes, with different colour and style preferences, it would cost an absolute fortune to stock! I do however, own a few dresses, tops, accessories and pieces of fabric that may be borrowed.
I will provide you with a list of my favourite online lingerie shops.
DOES IT ALL HAVE TO BE DONE IN UNDERWEAR?
No. You can bring along any items of clothing that you’d like to be photographed in. A dress, a jacket, a robe, your favourite jeans, anything you’d like!

No, I’m afraid not at this time, however I do couples boudoir shoots. Click here.
CAN I MIX A FEW OF THE NEON DISCO LIGHT IMAGES IN WITH YOUR TRADITIONAL BOUDOIR SESSION?
No, I’m afraid they are two completely different sets. Both my traditional boudoir sets and the Neon Disco Set takes me a couple of hours each to set up, so they need to be shot on separate days.
I’M NOT AS YOUNG (OR THIN) AS THE GIRLS ON YOUR WEBSITE, CAN I STILL BOOK A SESSION WITH YOU?
Of course! I don’t like that people even ask this question! Boudoir is for everyone, I believe every woman is beautiful. I am not always able to share every woman’s images on my website or social media, but I photograph ladies into their 50’s and plus sizes. I will create beautiful images to flatter YOU!
DO I HAVE TO DO NUDE IMAGES?
This is entirely up to you. We will discuss your levels of comfort regarding nudity. We can do some arty nudes, where nothing is actually seen, or you can keep underwear on at all times, the choice is yours.
I do not allow fully exposed genitalia.
CAN I CHOOSE THE STYLING OF THE SESSION?
Yes! Before the session, you will decide on your 3 ‘set-ups’. So if you choose the bed as one of your set-ups, for example, there are several different duvet and background pattern/colour options. I also ask that you send me a few images of the kinds of images that resonate with you, so I can get a feel of what you like.
WHO WILL SEE MY IMAGES?
This is totally up to you. I will not share or use your images anywhere without your permission. You can choose to keep them all totally private or you can select a few you’d be happy for me to share online or/and on my website. The choice is absolutely yours.
DO YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
Yes, I do skin retouching in photoshop and some colour and background enhancements. I will remove any spots or skin blemishes that aren’t usually there. I do not however, drastically change your body shape. If a bra or pants is digging in slightly to cause a small bump in the skin, I will correct this, for example. If you’d like for any cellulite or stretch marks etc to be reduced, I can do this also. We can discuss all levels of retouching at your session.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, payment plans can be put into place. The minimum bronze collection must be paid for, in full on the day of your session. If you would like to upgrade after this, a minimum payment of at least £100 per month must be made. Please understand not a single item will be given until the full payment has been made. No products will be ordered or images fully retouched until such time.
DO YOU DO OUTDOOR BOUDOIR SESSIONS OR TRAVEL TO A DIFFERENT INDOOR LOCATION?
No, I’m afraid not at this time.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
No. Everything is as seen.
CAN I BRING ALONG A FRIEND?
I prefer to work one on one with my clients, sometimes an ‘audience’ can make you feel more awkward! But if you really do feel uneasy about coming on your own, then by all means bring a friend, but I am a very lovely and friendly Karen!!
